Dr Pagano’s expert knowledge in the management of chronic vulvar disorders is highly regarded and as such, he regularly presents at conferences across Australia and overseas.
His ability to share vital information and treatment options, ensures that other doctors can support women in diagnosing and understanding specific vulvar disorders. Dr Pagano reviews patients from all over Victoria and across Australia.
He has also been involved in research over his career, leading to articles published in respected Medical Journals, as well as his valued opinions documented in newspaper articles, magazines and book chapters.

- A founding member of The Australian and New Zealand Vulvar Society (ANZVS). He has been a past President and now currently holds the position of Treasurer.
- A Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease (ISSVD).
- A Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics’ and Gynaecology.
- An Executive and Lifetime Member of ASCCP (Australian Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology).
- Elected to the Editorial Board of the Journal of the Lower Genital Tract – The official Journal of the ISSVD (International Vulva Society) and IFCPC (International Colposcopy Society).
